This policy describes how Chadvert Ads Library handles information when you use the library, consent to analytics, subscribe to the Chadvert newsletter, or contact us.
Chadvert Ads Library is an independent research library published under Chadvert, currently an unincorporated project based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Chadvert Ads Library is not a separate legal entity. This policy applies only to this archive and the newsletter signup offered through it—not to every current or future Chadvert product.
When you request a page, our hosting and infrastructure providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, and security signals. We do not use these logs to build marketing profiles.
If you consent, PostHog records pseudonymous product events such as searches, filter use, creative and advertiser views, replay opens, outbound clicks, and newsletter signup completion. Events may include page, referrer, source, and UTM context, plus general browser and device information.
Consented session replay reconstructs interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and page changes so we can understand usability problems. All form inputs and subscriber surfaces are masked, sensitive URL parameters are removed, and raw IP addresses are not retained as PostHog event properties. PostHog is hosted in the United States.
We do not send email addresses, subscriber IDs, or Resend contact IDs to PostHog, and we do not join newsletter identities to browsing histories or session replays. PostHog does not run before analytics consent is given. You can later withdraw that consent through the site's privacy choices control once analytics is available.
If you subscribe, we collect your email address, consent time, signup placement, source, and available UTM attribution. We may later offer optional role or research-interest fields. The newsletter covers Chadvert's broader work on ChatGPT advertising, answer-engine optimization, generative-engine optimization, and related products—not only this archive.
A signup is recorded in Supabase and synchronized with Resend. PostHog receives only an anonymous signup-completed event. Every marketing email will provide an unsubscribe method.
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever information you include. We use it to answer the message, handle a privacy or removal request, protect the archive, and document the outcome where appropriate.
Analytics and newsletter processing are based on your consent. Essential site delivery, security, and request handling are limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own infrastructure and security practices. Information may be processed outside your province, state, or country, including in the United States, where local authorities may lawfully access it.
You may reject or later withdraw analytics consent without losing access to the archive. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Newsletter access, correction, or deletion requests—and other privacy questions—can be sent to contact@chadvert.com.
Because the archive has no user accounts and PostHog data is not linked to your newsletter identity, we may not be able to associate a particular pseudonymous analytics record with you. We will not collect additional identity documents merely to locate low-sensitivity analytics data.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to this small public archive. No internet service can promise absolute security. We may update this policy as the archive changes; the effective date will be updated, and material new data uses will receive prominent notice and fresh consent where required.
