Corrections and creative review
We review credible concerns involving infringement, exposed personal or confidential information, unlawful content, safety risk, fraud, or material misattribution. A preference not to appear in a research archive does not by itself require removal. When it adequately addresses the concern, we prefer a provenance correction or added context over deletion.
Please include:
- your name and a working reply address;
- the exact archive URL or creative ID;
- the specific material you are concerned about;
- the legal or factual basis for the request;
- supporting evidence;
- your relationship to the affected party or rights-holder; and
- a good-faith statement that the information you provided is accurate.
We may ask for missing information before review begins. Please do not send government identification or unrelated sensitive information.
What happens next
- We aim to acknowledge a complete request within 3 business days.
- We review the archive record, the evidence supplied, and any relevant rights or safety concerns.
- We aim to provide a decision or status update within 10 business days.
- Credible urgent privacy, safety, or obvious-infringement concerns may be hidden temporarily while review is underway.
If a request is denied, you may reply once with new evidence or identify a material error for reconsideration. The final response will remain in the email thread; there is no separate portal or public appeals process.
Privacy and newsletter requests
Use the same address for privacy questions, access or deletion requests, or help with a newsletter unsubscribe. Include the subscribed email address only when it is needed to locate that newsletter record.
